Andrea Ackermann

Andrea Ackermann of AMA Interiors & Design has been designing classic interiors with a sophisticated edge for nearly 10 years.  After graduating with an Associates Degree in Interior Design from Berkeley College, Andrea began her career by working for a locally renowned designer.  There she designed and managed a variety of projects ranging from high end residential homes to hotels to model houses.

Andrea's design esthetic is a classic clean contemporary look that respects the architecture of a home.  Her design philosophy that "furniture should complement a room and harmonize with the walls that surround it" lends itself to her timeless designs.  Andrea believes that as an interior designer it is her responsibility to ensure that a house is functional yet beautiful at the same time.

Andrea has had her work published in several local publications including New York Spaces, Design NJ and New Jersey Life.

In addition, Andrea has her New Jersey real estate license and is using her design expertise to assist buyers and sellers.  From home staging to get the house sold to design and space planning advice for new homeowners and renters, Andrea provides an invaluable service as an associate at LeConte Realty.
