Ma Angela Almojuela, who prefers to be called Angela, has more than 25 years of business development and general management experience in food, franchising, and financial service industries here and abroad. She has a Bachelors and Masters in Business Management.
Born and raised in Asia, Angela accepted a job assignment and settled in the US in 2003. Against everyone’s advice, #1 on Angela’s relocation checklist was to buy a home. Only 3 months in the US, Angela became a homeowner. For Angela, 3 months is too long an agonizing wait for a homebuyer. And she wouldn’t wish the things she had to go through on anyone. Considering that 2003 was a boom year for real estate, Angela can’t imagine how it is like now especially for new US residents and/or first time homebuyers.
Though her Hackensack condo was Angela’s first US home purchase, it is certainly not her first property investment. At 28, Angela bought her first 2,800 sq ft investment lot in Asia. Five years later, she bought a 2.5 acre investment lot in California.
Angela’s “success” as a new US resident, first time US homebuyer, and property investor has inspired co-workers and friends that Angela became a go-to person for home purchase advices. This, plus her interest in architecture and interior design, prodded Angela to professionally engage in the real estate industry.
So, for those who are thinking of buying a home or property investment but are overwhelmed by questions, fear, uncertainty, etc., Angela is the person to call. She is willing and ready to handhold you through your home buying journey.
When not working, Angela volunteers as a Sunday school teacher at St Francis of Assisi in Hackensack, NJ.
